Event 6: 6th Place - Schiffman

$350 + $50 Omaha H/L 8B

Ron Schiffman (Cherry Hill, NJ)
 $1,100

Ron Schiffman is a classic example of how quickly things can change in Omaha.  He goes from chip leader to 6th place finisher in just a few hands.  "The blinds get so high that you can lose your entire stack in one or two hands," says the Borgata regular.  "If you miss your hand you're crippled and can't come back."

Schiffman's case in point comes on his final hand. While holding 5 6 J J double suited, he flops an open ended straight draw on a board of 4 7 Q.  Schiffman bricks the turn and river and is knocked out by Yuebin Guo (low) and George Gillis (high) who split Schiffman's 50k.

The businessman says, "it's back to work at World Wide Jets," before playing the upcoming PLO and Championship Events in the Borgata Spring Poker Open.
