Event 16: 6th Place - Dannenmann

 $1000 + $90 Six-Max NL (Re-Entry)

Steve Dannenmann (Severn, MD)
$6,431
Blinds 8k/16k, 2k ante

Steve Dannenmann ships 10 big blinds with Q J and is up against chip leader Mike Leah's A Q.

The board is A Q K 4 J and Leah's two pairs is best as he adds Dannenmann's last 160k to his stack; Leah is close to 1 million in chips.

This is Dannenmann's second Borgata final table of 2012 as he finished 9th in the Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship for a $44,000 payday.

Dannenmann, the 2005 WSOP Main Event runner-up to Joe Hachem, is a CPA, so wondered how he could be playing poker in the midst of tax season.  "Because I'm the boss," he says with a hardy laugh.

April 15th is the normal deadline to file income taxes, but because the 15th is on a Sunday you have until the 17th.

With his 6th place finish Steve Dannenmann, now has $6,431 to account for in next year's tax bill.
