On the turn with a board of A J 6 9, Joe put Dan Buzgon (Marlton, NJ) to the test for all his chips.  Dan tanked for a bit, then made the call all-in.

Dan's AQ was out-kicked by Joe's AK.  The river failed to save Dan when a 3 fell.  Joe is now up to ~150k.

Dan was busted, but may be back tomorrow for day 1B.  He can afford it after his 3rd place finish in event 14 yesterday, which was good for $13,823.  He Tweeted this about his exit:
