"I shouldn't be playing with these young guys," says 83 year-old Attilio Bitondo (New York, NY), "They're crazy, going all in every hand."
While a slight exaggeration, the age disparity between an old school player like Bitondo and the young guns of the internet era is obvious. He started playing 7-card stud when he was 17 years-old and comes to Borgata "every chance I get" to go up against this hoodie wearing generation.
Bitondo's a fixture during every Borgata series and has multiple cashes over the years including for $5,000 in a 2010 Borgata Poker Open Survivor tournament.
In this event Bitondo quietly shows pocket kings for a full house to knock out a player who rivered a straight. His stack is now at 50k.
"Long way to go," says the retired carpenter, who loves to nail his competition with big hands.
