Nothing like getting an early double-up on the third hand of the tournament. "He gave me all his chips," says Antoine White (Baltimore, MD), "he didn't believe I had a king."
The flop comes down K 2 5 and all the chips are in the middle with White holding K 10 against pocket 9s. White winds up with trip kings and takes his stack to 50k, while his opponent heads to the re-entry line.
"Hopefully not," says White who doesn't expect to have to re-enter, "that's the plan."
White is looking to build off his 23rd place finish in one event from this year's Borgata Winter Poker Open. He's up to 78k as level 3 (75/150) continues.
