Richard Corley Doubles Up!Richard Corley (Brooklyn, NY) doubles his 55,000 stack as bubble time heats up.
Richard called off all his chips holding KK but found himself up against the one pre-flop hand that could beat him. Corley was looking for the exits, needing a miracle K to crack Opponent's Aces.
Sure enough the river kept the kid alive.
Board ran: 7-6-J-Q-K
After the dust settled, Richard said to his Opponent, "You're taking it well" commenting he was still smiling after the brutal blow.
Jamie Kerstetter added she was happy for Richard, "Seems like a nice guy, let him cash."
Meanwhile, Jen Shahade also doubled her 55,000 stack in an A-10 vs. 88 race where she hit a 10 on the flop.
